Adding New Hardware

If you are installing a new piece of hardware follow the instructions that come with it. Windows should automatically detect it. If it doesn't then you will need to do the following steps.

Windows XP

Click on Start/Settings/Control Panel

Double click on the Add New Hardware icon

Click Next

Click Next again

Select “Yes” if you have already installed the hardware.
